Miguel lópez Beraza is an architect, filmmaker and script consultant from Madrid. He studied at DOCNOMADS, a film directing MA based in lisbon, Budapest and Brussels. Miguel completed his education, studying scriptwriting at San Antonio de los Baños Filmschool in Cuba (eICTV).
His films have received national and international awards, including the goya academy award 2015, New Horizons IFF 2017 and Warsaw IFF grand Prix 2022. And his work has been programmed in festivals such as Rotterdam IFFR, DOK leipzig and Sarajevo.
Since 2017, Miguel has combined his film practice with his work as a script consultant and mentor in script development workshops like less is More, Torino Film lab, The Creatives, european Writers Club (le groupe Ouest) and locarno Open Doors. Besides that, he has designed script development programs for the International Coproduction Forum of Madrid and the Netflix-Spanish Film Academy Campus.
